Greeting Cosmic Seekers!
How's that Venus retrograde in Aries treatin' y'all so far? Any old flames from the woodworks popping up? Any agreements revealing themselves to not be so balanced after all? If the relational shuffle has already begun for you, then keep at it, because the ride isn't over yet. In fact, this week really pushes us over the edge of the waterfall.
In addition to the ongoing Venus retrograde in Aries, this week Mercury also stations retrograde in Aries, the Sun has a heart to heart with stern Saturn, and it's the beginning of the first Eclipse season of 2025. Changes are already underway, but the astrology of this week may have us starting to look very closely at what needs to come undone in our hearts, minds, and processes in order to make space for new beginnings to ignite in our lives.
March 11th: The Sun in Pisces conjunct Saturn, and makes a closing semisextile to Chiron in Aries
The week begins with a sobering yet deeply reflective cosmic moment as the Sun aligns with Saturn, the celestial architect of structure, discipline, and responsibility. This annual conjunction puts a spotlight on our ambitions, commitments, and the systems that govern our lives. In Pisces, however, Saturn’s usual focus on boundaries and rules becomes more fluid—less about rigid frameworks and more about dissolving what no longer serves. This is a time to assess not just what we are building, but why. Are we chasing goals that align with our soul’s deeper truth, or are we clinging to outdated definitions of success?
Adding another layer, both the Sun and Saturn form a closing semisextile to Chiron in Aries, the cosmic healer. The semisextile, often subtle yet potent, calls for synthesis—inviting us to blend discipline with healing, structure with vulnerability. Chiron in Aries highlights wounds around identity, self-assertion, and courage. Under this influence, we may feel an urge to act quickly to “fix” something, particularly in areas where we feel emotionally exposed or where our empathy has left us drained.
This energy asks us to sit with discomfort instead of rushing to solve it. Rather than seeking immediate resolution, consider where you can integrate both resilience and softness. Can you uphold boundaries without closing your heart? Can you take responsibility for your healing without forcing a premature sense of closure?
Cosmic Guidance:
- Reflect on your long-term goals and whether they align with your evolving sense of purpose.
- Be mindful of the balance between emotional sensitivity and self-preservation—where might you need firmer boundaries?
- Instead of rushing to “fix” emotional discomfort, practice self-compassion and allow healing to unfold organically. What can you do right now to help you put some form to your possible pathway to success?
March 11th: Mercury in Aries conjunct Venus Retrograde in Aries
On the same day, Mercury in Aries kicks off a fiery rendezvous with Venus, who is currently retrograde in the bold and impulsive sign of Aries. Over the next two weeks, our conversations, thoughts, and negotiations take on an unmistakable intensity—charged with passion, urgency, and the occasional power play. Mercury, the cosmic communicator, merges with Venus, the celestial socialite, in a sign where action speaks louder than words and where desire fuels dialogue. But with Venus retracing her steps, this isn’t about forging ahead—it’s about revisiting, reassessing, and perhaps even reigniting unfinished business.
Rather than a direct call to action, this cosmic conjunction initiates a period of reflection on past decisions, especially in matters of communication, relationships, and agreements. Old flames, unresolved conflicts, or lingering creative ideas may resurface, demanding a fresh perspective. If tensions rise, remember that Aries energy thrives on assertion—but wisdom lies in knowing when to speak and when to listen.
Cosmic Guidance:
- Expect a reexamination of past conversations, agreements, and relationship dynamics. What needs revising?
- Stay open to shifting desires—what once felt like a clear “yes” might now be a reconsidered “maybe.”
- If past conflicts or people reappear, approach with curiosity rather than assumption. The story isn’t quite finished yet.
March 14th: Lunar Eclipse in Virgo making an opening trine to Uranus in Taurus
This is when things really start to shift. March 14th marks the first eclipse of 2025 and our first deep dive into the Virgo side of the evolving North Node in Pisces/South Node in Virgo axis that we transitioned into earlier this year.
A few key things to remember about eclipses:
- They are cosmic catalysts, often triggering large-scale events or sudden personal shifts that feel beyond our control.
- They mark moments of major change—both endings and beginnings—that reshape our trajectory.
- What’s meant to unfold will unfold. Our role is not to resist but to choose how we engage with the transformation.
This eclipse is significant for several reasons. First, it’s the inaugural Virgo eclipse in this new nodal cycle, setting the stage for a broader narrative that will unfold through 2027. The first glimpse of this axis arrived in September 2024 with a Pisces North Node eclipse—coinciding with the catastrophic flooding in the Appalachian Mountains. Now, with our first South Node eclipse in Virgo, we shift into a phase of purging, releasing, and dismantling what no longer serves. South Node eclipses emphasize closure, and in Virgo, these endings will center around themes of productivity, precision, work ethic, and service.
On a collective scale, I suspect we’ll see major moves regarding the workforce restructuring and bureaucratic purges—especially as Virgo governs efficiency, employment, and systems management. (For example, the ongoing attempts of the DOGE agency to oust civil servants under the guise of productivity reform. It's basically textbook South Node in Virgo)
On a personal level, this eclipse presents an opportunity to let go of perfectionism, self-criticism, and the relentless need to “get it right.” The Virgoan tendency to fix, refine, and control outcomes can be exhausting. What would it feel like to release the pressure of precision and embrace imperfection? Sometimes, the most profound growth happens when we allow ourselves to be wrong.
And while eclipses tend to bring uncertainty, this one comes with a silver lining: a dynamic trine to Uranus in Taurus. Uranus, the cosmic awakener, brings unexpected breakthroughs, innovation, and flashes of insight. If we can surrender the grip of control, we may find that letting go of rigid structures clears the way for exciting, radical change. The question is—where in your life is perfection holding you back? And what happens when you stop striving and start flowing?
Cosmic Guidance:
- Notice where themes of work, service, and efficiency are shifting in your life. What outdated routines or habits need to be released?
- Be mindful of self-criticism—this eclipse invites you to soften and embrace growth over perfection.
- Stay open to unexpected opportunities or insights. Uranus brings surprises, but they often lead to freedom.
March 14th: Venus Retrograde in Aries makes an opening semisextile to Ceres in Pisces
Late in the evening on the day of the Eclipse, Venus reconevens with Ceres, an overlooked celestial body who I believe governs our material world, our resources, and our sense of personal security and comfort. Since Venus is the co-op queen, her return to partner with Ceres may spark a desire to slow down movement in any relationships, agreements, contracts. It could be that financial or energetic bonds need to be readdressed or reconsidered.
It could be that you recognize that a certain level of nourishment or reciprocity has been missing, and this aspect encourages us to take a second look at how we invest our time, energy, and resources. Venus, deep in her retrograde journey through Aries, is not operating in her usual charm-and-flow manner. Instead, she’s reflecting on themes of independence, desire, and self-worth, questioning whether the relationships and agreements in our lives are truly stabilized and comfortable with our evolving spiritual attachments.
Cosmic Guidance:
- Reassess any financial, relational, or energetic commitments—do they feel balanced?
- Consider if you’re receiving the nourishment (emotional, financial, or spiritual) that you truly need.
- If conflicts arise in relationships, look beneath the surface—there may be unspoken needs that require attention.
This aspect, arriving on the heels of the Eclipse, subtly underscores a deeper theme: the way we cultivate and sustain relationships, not just in love but in all areas of life. Are we truly investing in connections that feed our souls?
March 15th: Mercury stations Retrograde in Aries conjunct Venus Rx
Less than 24 hours after the Eclipse, we're immediately thrown even further into reflection when Mercury slams on the brakes and stations retrograde—right alongside Venus, who is still deep in her own retrograde cycle. This is a cosmic double-take, a celestial rewind button that asks us to pause, reflect, and reassess the stories we’ve been telling ourselves.
March 17th: Sun in Pisces conjunct North Node in Pisces
As we move through the aftermath of the eclipse, the Sun—the great illuminator—meets up with the North Node in Pisces, shining a light on our collective destiny. This alignment acts as a cosmic highlighter, emphasizing the spiritual, intuitive, and surrender-driven path that the North Node in Pisces is calling us toward.
Pisces energy is vast, limitless, and deeply connected to the unseen. When the Sun joins forces with the North Node, we may find ourselves standing at a crossroads, faced with choices that require faith rather than logic. This transit amplifies themes of release, trust, and embracing the unknown, reminding us that not everything can—or should—be controlled.
With the recent Virgo South Node eclipse still reverberating through our lives, we’re being asked to let go of hyper-analysis, perfectionism, and the need to "figure it all out" in favor of surrendering to a greater flow. The key to navigating this transit is to listen to your intuition and allow your inner compass to guide you forward.
Cosmic Guidance:
- Pay attention to synchronicities and intuitive nudges—your future is whispering to you.
- Let go of rigid expectations and embrace the unknown. The path ahead is forming, even if you can’t see it clearly yet.
- Creative and spiritual breakthroughs are possible—lean into meditation, journaling, or any practice that connects you to something greater.
This transit marks a significant moment in our collective evolution, nudging us toward greater alignment with our higher purpose. Trust the journey, even if it doesn’t make perfect sense just yet.
"Just Keep Swimming"
I’m going to echo the foolishly wise fish, Dory, from Finding Nemo here and recommend that we all take the next several weeks in stride—one stroke forward at a time.
This week is just the cusp of a large and powerful wave of change. The eclipse, the Mercury and Venus retrogrades, and the Sun’s meeting with the North Node all signal that we are in the midst of a deep collective shift. No one is exempt from it, and we’re all navigating these spring storms together.
The key is to keep moving—not frantically, not out of fear, but with trust. Some days will feel like smooth sailing, while others may feel like you’re treading water. That’s okay. The tides are shifting, and the best thing we can do is surrender to the flow while keeping our eyes on where we ultimately want to go.
Cosmic Guidance:
- Stay flexible—things are shifting rapidly, and adaptability is your best ally.
- Don’t rush clarity. The answers will come when they’re ready.
- Support others through their own storms. We’re all in this together.
⨠If you’re feeling the tides pulling you in a new direction and need clarity on what’s ahead, now is the perfect time to book a reading. Let’s dive into your chart and navigate these changes together.
