Greetings Cosmic Seekers,
My friends, it's time to start attuning your awareness because we're about to enter some of the most dynamic parts of the year. All of Spring 2025 lots hot hot hot, and the first heat wave rolls through in March. While the first week doesn't quite have us in the frays completely, I invite you all to start paying close attention because with Venus already in retrograde and Mercury soon to follow, we're going to be moving back and forth over the familiar ground through most of this month.
March is moves us forward with a dynamic blend of celestial shifts, setting the stage for expansive ideas, bold conversations, and a deepened connection to what truly fuels our drive. As we step into this astrological landscape, we’re moving from deep contemplation into action—ready or not. Let’s dive into the standout transits shaping our cosmic weather this week.
March 3: Mercury enters Aries
Here comes the fire! Mercury, our cosmic communicator, is leaving the dreamy seas of Pisces and stepping into Aries, where thoughts become sharp, direct, and fast. This is a mental shift from passive reflection to immediate action—no more overthinking, just say it and go. While this transit brings clarity and decisiveness, it can also come with a lack of tact or forward thinking. Think before you speak, but don’t be afraid to own your truth. Conversations are bound to heat up, so use this energy wisely to assert yourself without burning bridges.
Keep in mind that Mercury is currently very much in the shadow of it's upcoming retrograde, meaning the ideas, opinions, messages, and exchanges you're having in the present may come up for deeper examination and rethinking later on. Don't be afraid to plow ahead with your ideas now, but be prepared that not everything may stick once you get down to rerouting your action plans.
March 5: Mercury in Aries makes an opening sextile to Pluto in Aquarius
This is where words carry weight. Pluto in Aquarius is a force of deep, collective transformation, and Mercury in Aries isn’t afraid to open up a dialogue about power and corruption. Expect curious revelations, intense messages that cut deep to the core of an idea, and the potential for persuasive, impactful conversations. Whether in personal interactions or the broader world stage, this aspect pushes us to cut through the noise and dynamically expose what truly matters. It’s an incredible transit for mental breakthroughs, but also one where thoughts can hold the power to destroy old paradigms—so wield them with intention.
March 7: Mercury in Aries makes an opening semisextile to Ceres in Pisces
Mercury has been charging full speed ahead since entering Aries, pushing for bold declarations and decisive action. But as it makes this subtle aspect to Ceres in Pisces, we’re momentarily invited to pause and consider how our drive for quick results aligns with pragmatic stability.
Ceres—often overlooked but a powerhouse in its own right—has been a key focus of my research, and I strongly suspect it may be the true planetary ruler of Taurus. It governs attainment, acquisition, sustainability, and the structures that give us material security. It’s about the tangible resources that keep us solid—our finances, assets, and ability to maintain what we possess.
With Ceres currently at the beginning of her several week tour in Pisces, this normally grounded force is drifting through a sign that dissolves boundaries, making it hard to get a clear read on what’s stable and what’s slipping through our fingers. Pisces represents endings, transitions, and the unknown, which can create a sense of uncertainty around what we can truly hold onto. We might find ourselves questioning financial strategies, reevaluating what’s worth investing in, or feeling like certain material goals are slipping just out of reach.
This transit reminds us that while Mercury in Aries favors impulsive action, lasting security requires a more strategic approach. We’re being asked to balance initiative with discernment, to ensure that what we’re pursuing isn’t just exciting in the moment, but also sustainable in the long run.
Ask yourself: Am I chasing immediate gratification, or am I building something that will last? How can I turn inspired ideas into something concrete? The key here isn’t to stall out in uncertainty, but to refine our vision so that when we do move, we’re moving toward something truly solid.
March 8: The Sun in Pisces makes a closing trine to Mars in Cancer
An emotionally motivating sweet spot in the week, as the Sun—the core cosmic force of our creative essence—and Mars, the planet of action, brings an intuitive sense of encouraging direction. Unlike the restless, externalized energy we often associate with Mars, this trine favors aligned action—the kind that comes from deep within rather than forceful effort. This span of days is an active exploration in trusting your gut instincts to guide you, especially in areas where emotional creative drive meets ambition. If you’ve been waiting for a cosmic green light to take action in a way that feels right, this is it.
Looking Ahead
As we move through these transits, we’re being asked to balance faith with action, intensity with care, and vision with execution. Mercury in Aries is pulling us toward bold decisions, while the Sun’s connection to Mars is helping us integrate intuition into our movements. The cosmic tides are shifting, urging us to not just dream, but do.
